What did you do professionally before working at Protectas?
I trained as a logistician. Shortly after, I started at Protectas.
Can you describe a working day as an operator?
During the morning shift, I start at 6:45 AM. And right from the start of the day, I appreciate this advantage of working at Protectas: I always have a free parking spot here in Zurich.
Then, I quickly settle in and the work begins. I verify alarms, inform and help customers on the phone, or respond to our telephone service clients.
I work 12 hours but benefit from more days off and can optimise my free time.
What do you appreciate about your work?
I greatly appreciate my work-life balance. Free coffee and snacks, as well as an on-site gym, contribute to this. Since I always need to stay focused, I have 2 hours of break during the day.
How do you handle stress in the SOC?
I appreciate the occasional stress at work. I like knowing that at the end of my day, all my tasks and alarms are completed and that new cases will be waiting when I return the next day.
What do you like about Protectas?
Protectas is an international and open company. I greatly appreciate the internal promotion opportunities.
