Who are you in a few words?

I am Floriana, 27 years old, from Kosovo. I wanted to be a police officer since I was 15 years old.

What motivated you to work at Protectas?

The opportunity to work in a dynamic and responsible environment where security and service are the focus.

Can you tell us about your beginnings at Protectas?

My beginnings at Protectas were exciting and instructive. I remember the comprehensive training where I learned various security protocols and techniques. I was particularly impressed by the professionalism and support of my colleagues, who helped me quickly find my role and feel welcome in the company.

And now, what are you responsible for?

Currently, I work as a detective at Protectas. I am responsible for conducting covert surveillance. I investigate cases such as fraud or theft and conduct detailed background checks on individuals or companies. I also write comprehensive reports and collect and secure evidence for legal purposes.

Regular communication with clients and providing updates are also part of my job. My exact responsibilities can vary depending on client requirements and specific cases.

What do you like about your job?

What I particularly enjoy about my job is the versatility and responsibility I carry. Every day brings new challenges, making my work exciting and varied.

I also appreciate the feeling of making a significant contribution to the safety and well-being of people.

What is your biggest challenge and how do you deal with it?

My biggest challenge is keeping a cool head in stressful and unpredictable situations. To deal with this, I rely on thorough preparation and continuous training to sharpen my skills. I also ensure a good work-life balance to stay mentally fit and resilient.

Integrity. In my job, it is essential to always act honestly and reliably, as we often operate in sensitive and trusted situations. Integrity forms the basis of the trust that clients and colleagues place in us and ensures the highest quality of our work.

Women who want to work in the security sector should get good training and acquire relevant qualifications. Networking and building professional connections are important, as is the support from experienced mentors. Confidence and assertiveness are essential in this sector. Continuous education and specialisation can promote a career path. A healthy work-life balance and the use of resources and organisations that support women in the industry are also crucial.
